Vacation Rental Planning Service Terms

These terms apply to vacation-rental furnishing planning and related coordination services provided by MAKARO CREATIVE DESIGN LLC, doing business as Casa Nuvé (“Casa Nuvé,” “we,” “us”). They supplement our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Written scope and compensation

Before work begins, Casa Nuvé will confirm the selected package, included rooms, deliverables, price, expected turnaround and any separately priced coordination work in writing. Planning packages are fixed-fee services unless a different written scope is accepted. Furniture, tax, shipping, assembly, installation and third-party labor are not included unless expressly stated.

2. Nature of the service

Casa Nuvé provides residential furnishing planning, interior-decoration concepts, product sourcing and clearly scoped purchasing or setup coordination. We do not provide architectural, engineering, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, permitting, building-code or life-safety services. Our plans are not construction documents and must not be used to obtain a building permit.

3. Client information and measurements

The client is responsible for providing accurate photographs, dimensions, floor plans, delivery restrictions, HOA rules, property access information, target occupancy and budget. Casa Nuvé is not responsible for fit, access or ordering problems caused by inaccurate or incomplete client information. Measurements and delivery paths must be verified before purchase.

4. Payment and start of work

Planning begins after the required payment and complete project intake are received. The written payment request identifies the service purchased. A requested delivery window begins only when required information is complete. Delays in client feedback, measurements, approvals or property access may extend the schedule.

5. Revisions

Unless the written scope says otherwise, a planning package includes one consolidated revision request submitted within five calendar days after delivery. A revision adjusts selections within the approved brief and budget; it does not add rooms, change the property, replace the full design direction or create a new scope. Additional work requires written approval and may carry an additional fee.

6. Cancellations and service refunds

A planning service may be cancelled for a full service-fee refund before work begins. After work begins, completed work and committed third-party costs are non-refundable; any refund for uncompleted work will be determined from the documented work completed, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Product purchases remain subject to the refund and return terms disclosed for those products.

7. Product prices, inventory and substitutions

Product prices, inventory, promotions, freight charges and delivery estimates can change without notice. Casa Nuvé reconfirms material selections at the applicable approval stage, but cannot guarantee that a recommended item will remain available. No substitution or additional purchase is authorized without client approval when it materially changes the look, function or expected spend.

8. Product and supplier compensation disclosure

A plan may recommend products sold by Casa Nuvé. Casa Nuvé earns the disclosed retail margin on products purchased from our store. Separately priced procurement or coordination fees will be identified in the written scope. We do not accept undisclosed supplier compensation for client recommendations. Unless a written scope states otherwise, the client may purchase suitable alternatives from another retailer.

9. Third-party services

Delivery companies, installers, assemblers, photographers, contractors and other outside providers are independent third parties. Their pricing, availability, insurance, licensing and performance are governed by their agreements with the client or the written project scope. Casa Nuvé does not guarantee third-party performance.

10. No rental-income guarantee

Casa Nuvé does not guarantee bookings, occupancy, nightly rate, reviews, property value, return on investment or any other financial result. Rental performance depends on factors outside our control, including market demand, location, pricing, management, seasonality, listing quality and guest experience.

11. Client approval and use

The client makes the final decision to approve and purchase every item. Plans are prepared for the identified property and client and may not be resold or represented as construction, architectural or engineering documents. The client may share the plan with vendors solely to complete the approved project.
